Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) 2023 recruitment is opened for Medical Doctors (MBBS), Pharmacists, Bsc. holders, HND holders, NCE, National Diploma (ND), SSCE (NECO, WAEC, GCE, NABTEB) and Artisan (Motor drivers, Mechanic).
POSITIONS:
1. CATEGORY A: SUPERINTENDENT CADRE
i. Superintendent of Immigration (SI) CONPASS 11 Professional (Doctors):
- Applicants must possess minimum of first Degree (MBBS) from a recognized Institution of higher learning and NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate
ii. Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 Professional (Pharmacists):
- Applicants must possess minimum of first Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution of higher learning and NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
iii. Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI II) CONPASS 08
- Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National
Diploma or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
2. CATEGORY B: INSPECTORATE CADRE
i. Assistant Inspector of Immigration (All), General Duty, CONPASS 06
- Applicants must be holders of National Diploma (ND), NCE or Advanced NABTEB obtained from recognized Institutions.
3. CATEGORY C: ASSISTANT CADRE
i. Immigration Assistant III (IA I11) CONPASS 03 General Duty
- Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, GCE
or Its equivalent with a minimum of Four (4) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English and Mathematics.
ii. Immigration Assistant III (IA III CONPASS 03 Artisans
(a) Motor drivers
(b) Mechanic
- Applicants must be holders of Ordinary Level SSCE, or its equivalents and appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR RECRUITMENT
1. Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
2. Have National Identity Number.
Applicants must be holders of the requisite qualifications and certificate.
3. Applicants must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from
Government recognized hospitals.
4. Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted
of any criminal offences.
5. Be required to pass drug test.
6. Applicants must not be financially embarrassed.
7.;Applicants must be between ages of 18 and 30 years with exception to Doctors and Pharmacists who must not be more than 35 Years.
8. Applicants’ height must not be less than 1.65m for male and 1.60m for
female.
9. Applicants chest measurement must not be less than 0.87m for men.
10. Computer literacy will be of added advantage.
11. Any certificate or qualification not declared and accepted during documentation, shall not be accepted after the recruitment.

- Candidates are expected to log on to the Nigeria Immigration Recruitment Portal below.
Nigeria Immigration Portal 2023:
- Fill and submit the application form.
- Candidates are advised to print out the Referee Forms which must be duly completed for submission during the Screening Exercise.
- Candidates should NOTE that multiple applications shall lead to automatic disqualification.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applications must be submitted online within Two (2) weeks from the date
of publication.
COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)
There shall be computer-based test for shortlisted candidates. Appropriate
time and date shall be communicated to such persons.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION CLOSING DATE
All Applications are expected to be completed and submitted within two (2)
weeks from the date of this publication.
