Federal Polytechnic Orogun Massive Job Recruitment 2023:Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State was established by the Act titled ‘An Act to Establish Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State to Provide Full-time & Part-time courses in Technology, Applied Science, Management and other fields of studies and to make provisions for the general administration of the Polytechnic and for related matters (SB 34: Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State (Est., etc) Bill, 2019)’ enacted by the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and approved by His Excellency, President Muhammed Buhari, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on April 27, 2022. The President and Commander-in-Chief has also appointed the Principal Officers of the Polytechnic effective 17th January, 2023.
As the institution wishes to distinguish itself as a digital Polytechnic, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Academic, Non Academic and Junior Staff Positions below:
1.) Medical Officer (NYSC)
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must be a current NYSC member possessing an MBBS Degree and registerable with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
2.) Assistant Registrar
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in the Arts, Social Science or Humanities, plus at least six years post qualification cognate experience or holder of a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline plus at least three years post-qualification cognate experience.
3.) Nursing Officer I
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess the dual qualification of NRN and NRM Certificates with at least six years post qualification cognate experience.
4.) Nursing Officer II
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess Nigerian Registered Nurse (N.R.N) / Nigerian Registered Midwife (N.R.M.) certificate with three years post qualification cognate experience.
5.) Staff Nurse / Staff Midwife I

- Candidates must possess Nigerian Registered Nurse (N.R.N) / Nigerian Registered Midwife (N.R.M.) Certificate with three years post qualification cognate experience.
6.) Staff Nurse / Staff Midwife II

- Candidates should possess a Nigerian Registered Nurse (N.R.N) / Nigerian Registered Midwife (N.R.M.) Certificate.
7.) Senior Pharmacist
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Pharmacy with three years relevant experience.
- Candidates with a post-graduate qualification should have at least two years relevant experience or a holder of Master’s Degree in Pharmacology must have one-year postqualification cognate experience with full professional registration.
8.) Pharmacist
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Pharmacy and full registration with the Pharmacists Registration Board of Nigeria plus NYSC discharge certificate.
9.) Senior Medical Officer
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess an M.B.B.S and registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with three years post qualification cognate experience.
10.) Medical Officer
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess an M.B.B.S and registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, plus NYSC Certificate plus one year cognate experience.
11.) Clerical Officer

Qualifications
- The candidate must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate with four Credit level passes including English Language, obtained at one sitting or five
Credits at two sittings.
12.) Confidential Secretary I

Qualifications
- The candidate must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) at Credit level in Office Technology and Management or its equivalent, plus NYSC Certificate.
13.) Senior Estate Surveyor

Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Estate Management with at least six years cognate working experience or a Master’s Degree in the relevant field plus three years post qualification cognate experience.
14.) Higher Data Processing Officer

Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) lower credit in Computer Science/Statistics with at least three years post qualification cognate experience.
15.) Technologist
Location: Delta
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant discipline at credit level, plus NYSC Certificate.
16.) Data Processing Officer

Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) lower credit in Computer Science/Statistics plus NYSC Certificate.
17.) Estate Surveyor I

Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Estate Management, plus at least three years cognate working experience or a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline.
