November Professional Qualifying
Examination for General Nurses), Input your index number and DOB.
Step 4: If it opens, congratulations! It means you passed.
Candidates will get the results through their school.

2. Summary of the results indicate:
(a) General Nursing Programmes:
i. Basic Nursing Programme
Three thousand, nine hundred and thirty-nine (3,939) candidates were
successful in the examination representing 88% pass.
ii. Refresher Programme
One hundred and twenty-five (125) candidates were successful in the
examination representing 64% pass.
iii. Foreign Trained Nurses
Two hundred and forty-five (245) candidates were successful in
the examination representing 65% pass.
iv. Community Nursing Programme
Three hundred and eighty-six (386) candidates were successful
representing 87% pass.
(b) Post Basic Nursing Programmes:
Nine hundred and thirty-five (935) candidates were successful in
the examination representing 97% pass.
3. Heads of the training institutions are hereby directed to check for the
result of their institution(s) on-line as from Saturday 27th May, 2023.
4. Successful candidates are hereby directed to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Portal (portal.nmen.gov.ng) to apply on-line for
Registration and Licencing with effect from Monday, 29th May, 2023.
5. Please note that on-line registration formalities including payment of
registration fee is to be completed within ninety (90) days. Also note that late
registration attracts a penalty fee of Sixteen Thousand, two hundred and
fifty Naira (N16,250.00) only per applicant after ninety (90) days.
Additionally, a penalty fee of Six thousand, five hundred and sixty-two
Naira (N6,562.00) will be charged per year in default of first licensing.
6. Please note that the next Professional Examination for General/Post Basic
Nursing is scheduled to hold from Tuesday 7th-Thursday 9th November, 2023.
7. Heads of nursing training institutions are hereby directed to send the statistics
of eligible candidates and Examination Application Checklist for November
2023 Professional Examination in General/Post basic to the Council on or
before 30th June, 2023. Failure to comply with the above directives indicate
that the institution(s) do not have candidate(s) for the examination.
8. Please acknowledge receipt of the result and contact the Registrar/CEO
immediately for rectification of any error. Council will not entertain any
complaint after 30 days of release of result.
9. All correspondences should be addressed to the Registrar/CEO, Nursing
and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Headquarters Office, Plot 713, Cadastral Zone, Life Camp, Abuja.
