Link to Unblock your MTN Line 2024
MTN Nigeria is going on blocking spree of Sim cards that are having NIN verification issue. This issue has affected many Nigerians including those that already linked their National Identity Number (NIN) with their lines.
If your MTN Nigeria line is barred this is the way to unbarred your line without going to MTN office.
STEP 1
Visit the official MTN portal for SIM-NIN linkage below.

STEP 2
Type in your phone number and an accessible email address..
They will send an OTP to your email not your phone number since its already barred.
If you’re unable to get an OTP via the affected phone or email, dial *996*NIN# on the affected line and follow the instructions.
STEP 3
Type in the OTP sent to your mail, you have to be SUPER FAST as the code expires in 30 seconds.
If you didn’t get the code, click on “resend OTP” after 30 seconds..
STEP 4
Input your NIN, They will verify if your NIN is linked.
If it isn’t, they will ask you to provide some data to link it..
Data include
1. Mothers maiden name
2. Last amount recharged
3. Frequently dialed numbers
Remember without your NIN, the line remains barred.
