The Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology wishes to inform the General Public that, the sales of online application form for  admission into various programmes in the College for 2022/2023 Academic Session commences from Monday 1st  February, 2022 to Friday 18th March, 2022.

1. Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) Diploma

Entry Requirements:

Holders of WAEC/SSCE/NECO or GCE O Level with Five Credits (5) English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

2. Pharmacy Technician (PT)

Entry Requirements:

A candidate must have five (5) credits which must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language at WAEC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

 

3. Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Diploma.

Entry Requirements:

A minimum of five credits passes at SSCE/GCE/NABTEB ‘O’ levels in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and physics at not more than two sittings within a space of fifive years prior to registration with the MLSCN. Candidates with MLA
or OND in Science Lab Tech certificate in addition to the requirements above may be considered for admission into 100L of the programme.

 

4. National Diploma Environmental Health
(ND EHT)

Entry Requirements:

A minimum of five credits passes at SSCE/GCE/NABTEB ‘O’ levels
in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and physics at not more than two sittings within a space of fifive years prior to registration with the MLSCN. Candidates with MLA
or OND in Science Lab Tech certificate in addition to the requirements above may be considered for admission into 100L of the programme

 

5. Environmental Health Technician (EVT)

Entry Requirements:

Certificates. Note that the five (5) passes must include four (4) credit
passes in English, Biology/Health Science and any two of the following subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Agricultural Science. Holders of Environmental Health Assistant
(EHA), Dental Surgery Assistants (DSA), Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEW) and other related programmes with two years’ post qualification experience can be admitted at 200 level of the Environmental Health Technicians Diploma provided, they fulfill the entry requirements.

 

6. Health Information Management (PD HIM) Diploma

Entry Requirements:

Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics plus any one other subject.

 

7. National Diploma Health Information
Management (ND HIM)

Entry Requirements:

Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

 

8. Dental Surgery Technician (DST)

Entry Requirements:

5 Credits which must include English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

 

9. Environmental Health Assistant (EHA)
Certificate

Entry Requirements:

Every candidate prior to commencing the training as Environmental Health Assistant, must produce evidence of possessing the following qualification: Four (4) passes, two at credit level which must include English Language, one science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Health Science or Integrated Science) and any other two subjects in GCE,
SSCE, NECO, NABTEB at not more than 2 sittings.

 

10. Environmental Health Technician Re-training (RE-EVT)

Entry Requirements:

Holders of EHA Certificate, DSA, JCHEW and above requirement with 2 year post qualification experience can be admitted into 200 level EVT Diploma.

 

11. Junior Community Health Extension
Worker (JCHEW) Certificate

Entry Requirements:

A candidate should possess Three Credit (3) WAEC or NECO in English Language Mathematics, Biology and any two passes from other subjects.

 

12. Community Health Extension Worker Re-training (RE- CHEW) Diploma

Entry Requirements:

HOLDERS of JCHEW certificate with two year post qualification experience and Five Credits (5) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry will be admitted directly to 200 level.

 

13. National Diploma Dental Therapy (ND DT).

Entry Requirements:

A minimum of Five Credit passes in WAEC or NECO which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sitting.

 

14. Diploma Health Promotion and
Education (DHPE)

Entry Requirements:

A candidate must have at least four (4) credits which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other subject from WAEC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

 

15. National Diploma Nutrition and Dietetics
(ND NUT).

Entry Requirements:

A minimum of Five Credit passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology,
Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sitting.

COHESKAT APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION ONLINE APPLICATION

1. Open your browser.

2. Visit School of Health and Technology Kankia Portal;

https://www.coheskat.edu.ng/

OR

https://application.coheskat.edu.ng/ on the Address Bar and press Enter.

3. Click on apply online.

4. Click on start application.

5. Register for the first time to create an account.

6. After creating an account. Use your login details to make payment of Application Form via Remita.

7. Select payment type (Bank Branch or Online ATM CARD).

8. To make payment Using Bank Branch prints payment Slip and take it to any Bank Branch nationwide.

9. To make payment using ATM Card follow the online procedures In addition You can make payment via any of the following channels:

  • Cash Deposit at the bank:
    You can make payment at: Any Bank Branch Nationwide: Cash Payment at the bank through Remita Present your payment slip to a teller at any Bank branch and request to pay using Remita. The teller login to Remita and enter the RRR on this Slip, proceed with the transaction and prints out a payment receipt for you.
  • Remita Website:
    Proceed to the Remita website @ https://www.remita.net Click on ‘Pay an Invoice’. On the resulting page, enter your RRR (290427602341) in the box provided and click the “Continue” button.
  • On the next page, click “Pay” button again to load the payment gateway.
    Enter your Credit/Debit Card information and process payment.
  • Print your payment receipt from the screen. To print payment receipt click
    on payment History.

10. Proceed to fill the online application form.

11. At the end submit your application and print:

a) Application Form

b) Acknowledgement Slip containing your entrance examination Date, Time and Venue
c) Applicants are to come along with their acknowledgement slip at the examination Venues.
d) No applicant will be allowed to sit for entrance examination without acknowledgement slip.
