CBN ANCHOR BORROWER PROGRAMME

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in line with its developmental function established the Anchor Borrowers’ Programme (ABP). The Programme which was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) on November 17, 2015 is intended to create a linkage between anchor companies involved in the processing and small holder farmers (SHFs) of the required key agricultural commodities. The programme thrust of the ABP is provision of farm inputs in kind and cash (for farm labour) to small holder farmers to boost production of these commodities, stabilize inputs supply to agro processors and address the country’s negative balance of payments on food.

  54. My local government is not on the list (suleja)when I click on the link it showing nothing and it’s making me not been able to submit my application.please any help.

    • Good evening sir/ma, am Apeh prosper ilemona by named, I apply this program Sunday evening. The position and area of interest I saw there on Sunday is farming and business, and I apply for business. Just this evening, what am seeing now in the areas of interest now is poultry, crop cultivation, fish farming etc please does it mean the first one I apply on Sunday is cancelled or can I still reapply again, that will not cause me disqualification.now the areas of interest has been changed to Agricultural areas Please what should I do now about issue.
