Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Full Time National Diploma (ND), HND, IJMB and Remedials programmes of studies in Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum entry requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in the specified field are:

  1. National Diploma (ND) in relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit grade obtained from recognized institution, plus five (5) relevant credits which must include English Language and Mathematics at WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate.
  1. A minimum of one (1) year post National Diploma (ND) cognate working experience (industrial training).

iii.      All applicants (except those who obtained their ND from Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru) are to send transcripts of their National Diploma (ND) under confidential covers to the Registrar, Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru to ease consideration of their admission.

          ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of five (5) relevant credits which must include English Language and Mathematics at WAEC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

3.ONE (1) YEAR FULL-TIME REMEDIAL PROGRAMMES:

          The Remedial programmes are designed to prepare candidates with deficiencies in the entry requirements and subsequent admissions for full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes in the following:

SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (SET)

          ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings obtained from WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate in subjects relevant to the programmes.

4.TWO (2) YEARS FULL-TIME POLYTECHNIC DIPLOMA IN THE FOLLOWING:

  1.         Survey and Geo-informatics
  2.        Office Technology Management

          iii.      Social Development Studies

  1.       Hospitality Management
  2. Library and Information Science.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum entry requirements for Polytechnic Diploma programmes in the specified fields are:

A Minimum of five (5) credit passes at WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate or equivalent, in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English Language and Mathematics.

5. ONE (1) YEAR FULL TIME IJMB PROGRAMMES:

          The Polytechnic runs one (1) year full time IJMB programmes in three (3) combinable subjects in Natural and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Arts leading to possible undergraduate courses in Universities

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum entry requirements for IJMB Programmes in the specified field are:

WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate with atleast five (5) credit passes or equivalent (in not more than two (2) sittings) in relevant subjects.

Method Of Application

All applicants must purchase the Polytechnic admission access Pin from any Commercial Bank through E-Transact for a Non-refundable fee of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only excluding Bank Charges.

The admission form can be accessed online at the Polytechnic website, www.nigerpoly.edu.ng.

Follow these steps to complete the Admission Form online:

  1. Open to the website
  2. Click online Forms
  3. Click Admission Form
  4. Enter your Pin Code and Click Login
  5. Fill the Form
  6. Click Preview Form
  7. Upload your Passport size Picture and Print Preview
  8. Click Submit.

Closing Date

Sales of Admission Forms ends on 31st January, 2021.

Screening Exercise for all admissions will take place at Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, Main Campus on a date to be announced later.
