The Federal Government is set to commence the immediate payment of stipends for beneficiaries of the Special Public Works Programme of the 774,000 Federal Jobs, Mr. Festus, Head of the programme disclosed.
The Federal Government headed by Mr. Buhari has promised not to delay stipends regarding the aforementioned job, as beneficiaries will be treated with utmost respect and due diligence
According to Punch newspaper, the sum of N20, 000 will be giving to each beneficiaries for three consecutive months as work intensified
The government also highlighted plans to commence other segments of the programme early next year.
Mr. Festus will brief the general public on plans to commence the next version of the programme within the shortest possible time, punch added.
