In view of the foregoing, the Commission has set in motion machineries for the commencement of the exercise which will soon be communicated to prospective applicants.

The Commission however observed with dismay, a mischievous publication being circulated on social media accussing the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission that it is selling recruitment forms for applicants at the rate of Two Thousand Naira.

This publication is not only false but misleading as it was done in bad light to tarnish the image of the Nasarawa State Government and the Commission.

We therefore appeal to the general public to disregard this publication in its entirety, as necessary measures are being taken to ensure the seamless conduct of recruitment exercise that will be appreciated by all citizens of Nasarawa State.

Alh. Abdullahi Abu Galadima
Chairman, Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission.

IN ANOTHER PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR,

Government notes with great concern the advertisement for recruitment of teachers purported to have emanated from the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the subsequent rebuttal by the Chairman of the Commission over the alleged sale of forms.

Considering the confusion this may have caused, it has become pertinent to clarify as follows:

(a) That indeed His Excellency Governor Abdullahi A. Sule has granted approval for recruitment of qualified applicants into the teaching cadre in line with the administration’s blueprint on education.

(b) Government has put in place a robust process with due checks and balances to ensure an all inclusive and transparent process of engaging the right calibre of teachers.

(c) We note that, some individuals have already paid the sum of two thousand naira to purchase the forms.

(d) No approval has been given for the sale of forms for the recruitment.

(e) By this statement therefore, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has directed that such individuals who have paid be refunded immediately.

(f) We urge our dear citizens who have paid to go for the refund where they paid and to remain calm, while awaiting further information regarding recruitment of teachers as approved by Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule
